Watching Fright Night (2011) with hubby. It’s a good thing he’s used to me drooling over David Tennant and Colin Farrel because well, Tennant’s pretty much shirtless through the whole time he’s on screen. :)
So, temporarily without tv for a few days, which blows. Thank god we own so many tv seasons and dvds. But I’m going to miss Awake and more importantly, Community tonight! I’m so upset. :( Hopefully I’ll be able to find it on the ‘net.
Work was, well I wouldn’t say better, but I handled it better. It really helped that I was super, almost overly nice to the one lady at work who thinks she runs the store, and yet that isn’t her job.
Oh chocolate pudding cup, you always make me feel better, and like a twelve year old :)
I wish head office at work would worry less about making money and more about letting us do our jobs properly and not rush them because they keep cutting hours. Grrr!
So, had a not-so-good shift at work this morning. It’s frustrating, but I can’t let it get to me. It’s really not worth getting worked up over. Besides, as of Wednesday afternoon I have a week off. I am so looking forward to it. I wish it was Wednesday afternoon right now! And to make Wednesday even more appealing is how I get to see Coldplay that night! My Christmas present from hubby (that I may or may not have told him he had to buy for me, lol!)
Right now I’m relaxing watching Titanic at 100: Mystery Solved on History channel. (Or it was, it’s ended since I started typing this. Now I’m watching the James Cameron Titanic special I pvr’d the other night) It’s really cool and I love all of the shots from underwater. Simply amazing. I also have facebook and twitter open. And trying to get all caught up on my blog reader. I’m just a wee bit behind. 300 posts isn’t that many, right?
The hubby and I have talked so much about Doctor Who in the past year that we’ve managed to intrigue one of our best friends. I lent her season two a month ago [I don’t have one yet because it’s been hard to find, unless you have a credit card):] and at first she said it was a little weird (I do feel a little bad that I don’t have season one) but by the time she got to Army of Ghosts and Doomsday she was so emotionally attached. She told me was bawled in Doomsday and all I could think was, ‘Mission accomplished!’
A couple of weeks ago she asked to borrow three and four. And now that I’ve lent them to her, I really, really want to watch season four. Like really bad. I think the only thing saving me is that me and hubby are watching season one of Torchwood on BBC Canada. However, seeing pictures of Ten and Donna on here isn’t helping. Oh well. I could always try and find them on the internet, like I did before I owned them.
It has been quite a while since I’ve been on tumblr. I forgot how much I missed all the fandoms. Life has been busy and a little crazy, but things are all worked out and good now. Seeing all of the love there is for my fandoms makes me happy!
Also, I totally forgot how time seems to disappear when I’m on here. The hubby and I are watching the Flyers/Penguins game and just a few minutes ago I looked up to realize that it was halfway through third period and that Philly and scored two goals. I don’t remember that happening. I totally missed second period, last I remember was the end of first. Ah, oops! Oh well.
Oh and what is it with professional athletes and spitting when they’re on the bench or walking the field? That is disgusting! (Someone on the philly bench just spit, blech!) I think I’ve only seen North American players do it. Either way, gross!
On another note, I got Skyrim for Christmas and it is super addicting. It’s quite the fight for the tv between the three of us. Little one wants to watch her movies and cartoons, hubby wants to play GoldenEye and I obviously want to play Skyrim. We’re going to have to make a schedule or something, lol.
Watching Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (Extended version because that’s the only way to watch it). It’s been a while since I’ve watched it. But I love it so much! Because of the Hobbit coming out later this year (much later), I plan on reading The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings before it comes out. I haven’t read them in a few years and I should definitely read them far more.
Alright, just finished filling up my queue for Christmas because I won’t be on tomorrow. I just wanna wish every one a Merry Christmas! Have a great time!
Bought the series 6 box set of Doctor Who and watched the ‘Night and the Doctor’ mini-sodes and was in tears at the ‘Last Night’ one with River. And because I’m a sucker fo punishment, I watched ‘Silence in the Library’ and ‘Forest of the Dead’ after. At which point I was pretty much crying my eyes out, and I knew I was going to. The more we find out about River, the sadder those two episodes get.
Watching ‘Partners in Crime’ right now with my little girl. The Doctor and Donna pantomime scene is just pure awesomeness. I literally lol every single time.
Now I’m off to make a Doctor Who related icon/avatar/whatever the hell you wanna call it.
